No PS3 Price cut for us Europeans

Filed under: News, Sony — stuart @ 11:57 am

In another big blow for us Sony has said that there will be no price cut for the Playstation 3 in europe and that they only plan to release a bundle at the old price of 424.99.

Included in the bundle will be an extra Sixaxis controller and two games from a list of five that includes Resistance Fall of man, Motorstorm, Genji Days of the Blade, F1 Championship Edition and Ridge Racer 7.

Early this week our american counterparts got a price cut for the Playsation 3 with $100 nocked off the price and they will also be getting a 80gb version of the console unlike us as we will not be getting the 80gb version.

The new pack will be avaliable in stores from the 18th July and the 1st August in the rest of Europe.

  1. I saw the Sony press conference on gamespot this morning and i had to laugh at how they think that the Playstation Home or Network is successful. Seriously, the network doesnt allow friends lists.

On topic…..*ahem* Another reason why playstation3 is doomed to fail.
